MAYBEURY PTA FUNDRAISING

2023-2024

 

The Maybeury PTA supports our school’s mission by providing valuable programs, materials,
and improvements to our school’s campus. All money raised by the PTA goes directly to the
school to be enjoyed by the students, staff, and community. Thanks to your generosity last year,
PTA funds were used to stock the STREAM Lab, buy students a chapter book for the One
School, One Book Challenge, add grade level recess equipment lockers and large soccer goals to
the playground, and purchase zip-up jackets for all staff and fund instruments for our music
program. PTA fundraising also supports our annual operating budget of $60,000 which includes
ongoing programs like the MES Learning Garden, MayBOOry, Spring Family Dinner, BINGO
night, and ESL Night – all of which are back on the calendar this year!


We encourage all Maybeury families to participate in any of these PTA fundraising events

MALLARD FUND - We encourage donations of any amount to the Mallard Fund. Stay tuned
for updates in the coming weeks about a chance to win a prize for every donation made. Our
goal is to raise $20,000 this year, and don’t forget about corporate matching programs! Contact

PTA SPIRIT NIGHTS - The PTA hosts monthly spirit nights throughout the year at Chick-fil-
A, Chianti Italian Restaurant, and more. A percentage of purchases are donated to Maybeury.

MALLARD SPIRIT WEAR - Show your MALLARD PRIDE by purchasing Spirit Wear
at Open House this Thursday, August 25 th . Kindergarten Open House is 10am-12pm and 1 st -
5 th  grades are from 3pm-5pm.  We will have a table with t-shirts, sweatshirts, car magnets, and
much more!  See you Thursday.
 
We also are having a Flash Sale on our new online store which is available for purchase
until September 26th .  We have Yard Signs to show your mallard pride, a shirt of the year, and
tons of options to order HOUSE attire. Go to Spirithero.com and search for Maybeury. Please
place your order by September 26 th . At that time, we will close the order and receive the items
about 3 weeks later. Your items will be sent home with your children.  Please note that if you are
a new family or a Kindergarten family to MES, wait to find out your HOUSE before ordering a
specific house shirt. Email with any questions. We will also have a few items for sale on our
PTA site throughout the year. More information will come out regarding spirit wear in the PTA

OTHER EASY WAYS TO SUPPORT MAYBEURY PTA THROUGH SHOPPING:

 

NOTE:  YOU MUST RE-REGISTER EACH YEAR!!

  

KROGER—Enroll in the Community Rewards Program HERE. Simply create an account using your Kroger Plus card and then enter Maybeury’s school code CV239 under “Find My Organization”. Every time you shop, a portion of your purchase goes to Maybeury. You must re-enroll every year. Participation this program does not affect your gas or grocery reward programs.  

 

PUBLIX—Earn money for Maybeury every time you shop at Publix. Sign up for Club Publix, then log into your account from your laptop, go to account settings, scroll to the right and select "My Publix Partner." Search for Maybeury Elementary and "Save." Every time you shop at Publix, simply enter your phone number at check out and Maybeury earns money that we can choose how to spend. This also works directly with the Publix shopping App.

 

AMAZON SMILE-Earn money for Maybeury while you shop on Amazon!  Amazon smile allows you to accrue rewards and designate them to benefit Maybeury. Enroll HERE. 

 
  1. You can support the Maybeury Elementary PTA every time you shop through your Amazon shopping app! Simply follow these instructions to turn on AmazonSmile and start generating donations.
  2. Open the Amazon Shopping app on your device
  3. Go into the main menu of the Amazon Shopping app and tap into 'Settings'
  4. Tap 'AmazonSmile' and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process. You do need to enable notifications from Amazon but can customize it to work for you (for example, sounds and banners are optional)
